| Spent all morning workin on today's project and it was harder than it sounds. We took the back off'n my big overstuffed leather recliner, exposing the back reclining mechanism. One side was bent pretty badly causing the back of the recliner to lean at a rakish angle. Not having a fully stocked handyman's shop at my disposal we hadda do like usual and improvise Between a C-clamp, hammer, 18"'pipe wrench, channel locks, needle nose, and amazingly enough only 1 sailor-like expletive we got it straightened out.
Among the sundry beer tops, popcorn kernals, scrungies, socks, mardi gras beads, and pocket change we found in the bowels of the chair, we unearthed a long lost much missed treasure: My ole camoflaged bucket hat Before it turned up missin it was my constant outdoor companion. I found it with a "Whoop" of joy. and a sigh of relief from Peg. Many's the time I had accused her of hiding it or throwing it away. Sighhh, I guess now it will be relegated to certain special occasions and afternoons with the guys as da camp.
As far as how the recliner wound up bent and turned over onto its back to begin with.............Peg wont let me tell yall
