I can't see how this will happen either. The Supreme Court may pass it but there will be something done so that garage sales, eBay, used car sales, and other things will be able to be sold. If we are prevented from reselling like that, not only will the economy be drastically affected, people will make too much of a stink about it and the politicians will step in.

They must be kidding. How they can even bring that up is beyond me. How can they decide they have a right to something after it's been bought? I don't think it will pass but as someone said, remember the McDonald's lawsuit. Weird. If it, by some miracle, pass, they will destroy 75% of the business that goes on in the US.

I say, once it's sold in America it's under American law. No reason for us to uphold everyone else's rules and regulations.

That is ridiculous. I really don't think it will pass, but if it does, people will find a way around it; they'll just sell or barter under the table.

The creation of forged permission letters will flourish. With print shop and a right-click-and-save Sony logo from Google Images, suddenly selling my tv is no problem.
