Just a little humorous play on words regarding the current attitude of many people. I really do have good neighbors. Actually I am looking at getting a new 10-22. My old Marlin 60 just doesn't hold up and the main spring is getting harder to find each time I have to replace it.

| Grandpa,
As usual I am the last one to figure that stuff out. I "automatically" react when someone proposes guns to solve simple problems.
Ghostdog,
Great program with the Navajo. Working on Black Mesa, I learned that Peabody distributes coal for free to everyone. But people don't realize how rural the Res really is, and cold it is on the Mesa.

| I can't argue with what has been said about Christmas becoming generally a festival of shopping and indulgence, to the detriment of the family budget. On the other hand, Christmas for any individual person is exactly what you decide it is and make it to be. I absolutely love Christmas, but in my family it is a holiday of significant spiritual meaning and celebrated with a focus on keeping it significant instead of stressful and materialistic. Yes, there are gifts, but it's not a shopping free-for-all that we can't afford, and there is more focus on the religious significance and service and time with family (it helps that we get along well with our families).
Now, about that list...I think I'd like a Sawyer Squeeze water filter. My old Tevas are falling apart. I hope we can spend a few days at a cabin to do some x-country skiing and snowshoeing.

| Hi...
Very little on my list:
Smartwool socks, dry red wine and moldy cheese (preferably Stilton).

| Hi...
PS...
Other than grocery shopping, I'm rarely in a store anymore. I shop almost exclusively via catalog. No crowds, better service, no stress...!!

| Oh, smartwools! Yes, I need some of those. (I should stop scuffing around the house all the time in my expensive hiking socks, but they are just soooooo much comfier than any other socks in the entire world I can't help it).

I'm hoping they mean the hiking socks too. If so, I'll get a few pair. I wear them around the house too but with my Birks on the hard tile.

I have a friend that almost never goes to the store. She orders most everything online and has it shipped to her house, even groceries. I'd like to try a "year online" where I buy it all online. Some things are hard to do that with... Clothes and refrigerated food being on the top of the list.

| I love amazon. Free shipping on most things, and they have everything. I hit the grocery store twice a month, and that is all the shopping outside my house that I do for the most part. I loathe shopping and will do almost anything to avoid it. I'd ten times rather clean my house than go to a store.

Is there a way to get information on this organization?
