Default When was Your Last New Thread?
The quality and interest level on the forum is only as a good as the new threads started by its members. When was the last time you started a new thread? It seems that lately we have a had a lot of threads about tv, politics, and other decidedly non-outdoor topics. Please come up with something new and interesting once in awhile. That is how we all stay interested.

WOW. This is a busy season for many outdoor lovers and NO new thread about anyone's interest has been a waste of time. Maybe negative threads such as this one is a waste of some member's time. Last night when I signed on there were over 100 visitors to Travelers Tavern alone. IMHO that is indicative of more than a little interest in OBC!

Having been a lurker myself (before joining), I was grateful for knowledge gleaned and entertainment provided. We have a great site here thanks to ALL of the members at OBC!

I dont think any post is a waste of time being off topic or not. What you dont want to hear could be interesting to someone else. I just read at the top of my page there has been 59 post in the past 24 hours. I myself check into OBC more then twice a day.

Hmmm- I can't recall, so it's been too long, I suppose. I have a long trip report about my AT section hike I could do- need to edit my journal entries into something coherent and post some pics in a new album. Perhaps I can get it together this evening. Last evening was a loss due to power failure, but that's resolved.
