It was supposed to be about 6:15 this morning. Like all "end times" predictions, it was a lot of fluff with no substance. The only thing real about any of these (the apocalypse, the rapture, etc.) seems to be that they can make some pretty good parties.

Had a hellacious storm last night. Blew a tree over in the front yard. It's like everything turned upside down. "It's the end of the world as we know it, And I feel fine." Let me get my coffee.

Woke up and checked my toe. Didn't have a tag on it so I figured it to be a good day. Then realized if it was end times, there'd be no one to tag my toe so wasn't sure anymore. Made it down to my computer, realized the power was still on so no emp....yet. Colder than a mother in laws kiss so Yellowstone hasn't blown it's top either. Got a tall glass of water sitting here on the desk so I can watch if it starts shaking. Long line of supply trucks waiting to unload at the local grocery store but no mad rush to clear the shelves. Jerry the grocer gonna be really upset that no one is in panic yet. And my big lazy dog is still asleep so he ain't much good for warning me if the zombies are coming. I think he has the best idea, I'm going back to bed.

Well, I had my coffee and looked back out the window. There were a couple zombies trying to get past the downed tree. They kept walking into it and moaning softly. I was about to get my rifle when a bigfoot came out of the woods and clubbed them with a big oak branch. He waved to me and I waved back. Then he walked back into the woods. I guess it's okay but the wind changed from due North to due South and the sun came up out of the West. A little weird but pretty much average for me.

I'm kind of disappointed.

The hoards of zombies which were supposed to descend upon my location would have looked so pretty lying in the freshly fallen snow here.

Oh well............
It saves me from having to go up on the roof and shoveling off a shooting platform.

I studied the Mayan tablet very carefully and it does seem to be incomplete. While doing so, my little brother came over with a bag of oreo cookies and handed me one. I noticed the similarity with the Mayan stone and began to study the Oreo. It just keeps going around and around.
