Default Red Rock Canyon

This was an awesome hiking trip even though we didn't have near enough time to explore all of it. We had a great time and got to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the mountains.

It really IS a beautiful place. I didn't have much time to explore it when I was there.

Colorado. Used to live there and spent some time in Red Rock. It is beautiful. One of those things that you cannot capture on film or in a painting. You just have to go see it for yourself.

Have to wait for Princess to clarify, but I think this is the Nevada Red Rock as opposed to the California or Colorado Red Rock. Red Rock Canyon is just outside Las Vegas.

See why I asked?

Like "devil's lake", there's one in almost every state!

We were in Nevada. It was a welcome reprieve from the bright lights and noise of Las Vegas believe me. I love the wide open spaces. My boyfriend had a conference in Vegas for work.

I'm not going to research that but "Devil Creek" runs through my backyard and "Devil Creek Reservoir" is just a little ways up the creek. So I call your statement good for Idaho.

I've never been to Colorado before and I have to admit that I regret this.. When I look at your picture the only thing I can see is the beauty of the nature. It's a great place and I envy you for the chance to have been there. Maybe I should plan a trip for next year!

One of my dreams is to drive to Colorado. I guess it's time to get going on that one. I'm adding Red Rock Canyon to my list of things I'd love to see. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pics.
