Default Bushcraft Section

Hey guys and gals. I was thinking maybe we could make a Bushcraft section if everybody was interested. I would be nice to see each other's bushcraft skills they have learned over the years. Maybe I could encompass MYOG-making your own gear and stuff like that. Perhaps even arts and crafts.

Think it would be a good idea Jason?

Just tossing it out there.

Sounds like a good idea!

I've always used bushcraft as a foundation, learning it from my father and using the skills without even knowing what I was learning. I had the nice experience of going out with a few bushcraft guys on a "hang" with some people from the HammockForum forums and met up with some a few weeks ago. They had some home made gear and we sipped Chaga tea all weekend in the rain. It was interesting getting back to the basics after years of chasing every new trend in lightweight gear made out of exotic synthetic fibers.

Getting back to the basics is good once in a while. It's the roots of what we do.

I've been talking with Dave some on it. I plan on doing a little changing up on the forums and articles within a few weeks, and will work on adding this section.
