Yes! I've been poking around here admiring the wide range of topics. I've been spreading the word to boost some traffic on here.

As long as this forum doesn't go the route of creating a "political topics" forum to try and cater to or appease troublemakers and trolls who should be taking those topics to well......let's say....a political forum perhaps? then it should stay as good as sites like BWCA.com which are well moderated and stay on topic. I can tell you more than one outdoor forum that's been completely ruined by political topics or people trying to turn everything into a political mud slinging match.

This should be a place where people can get ideas, links and suggestions for places to enjoy the outdoors. It looks as if that's what it is right now. I hope that never changes.

Great site!

Thank you. I've been a bit busy with a move and a baby on the way. But there are some things still planned for the site. A new homepage for the articles should be by the end of the month I hope. Along with a slight forum re-design. Hopefully everyone will like. Once things settle down here, I am wanting to really dig my teeth in and get some stuff improved here.

Lorax - I have no need to for a politcal forum here. If you want to discuss politics there are plenty of places for that. The only thing I can see is more outdoor activity sections being added as membership and topics increase. Would love to get some more talks on things like geocaching and metal detecting personally. Two hobbies I would love to increase personally.

But in the end it is the members who make the site. So a lot of you are to be thanked. I also wish to thank everyone who has reported posts so I can at least quickly deal with spammers, even if I am not able to respond to regular posts.
