Default Hello from the SW corner of the Great Southwest
Hi, I'm Joe and I live in North San Diego County. I love camping and the outdoors. I've been camping all my life and am always looking forward to the next trip. I have an old jeep and enjoy exploring the Southwest. The further from pavement the better. I prefer primitive camping, often solo and I avoid developed campgrounds. I'm always curious to see what's over the next hill. I guess that's what keeps me going.

I've been a sailor most of my life. In the last decade I've gained lots of experience as a tall ship sailor. That is real thrill!

I have a bunch of hiking partners from your neck of the woods. Sister lives in Vista and through hikes with B-I-L met many of your neighbors.
