Foil apple dessert

I found another recipe that I want to try ~ it’s for an apple dessert. We are actually going to try this one tonight at our backyard campfire. You need apples (sliced), granola and caramel chips ~ I’m already sold as I love caramel. It’s almost like a caramel apple minus the stick! You are supposed to spray cooking spray on the foil and put in apples then the granola and chips. Drop on the coals and cook for 15 minutes. I can’t wait to try it. Have you tried anything like this? I will give an update once we try it.

Yum and more yum. I can't wait to hear how it turns out. I love apples and so do the kids. We have never tried this and it sounds simple enough. I wonder if the apples stick to the foil or if they need to be turned once in the coals?

This certainly sounds pretty good and simple too. I'll bet you could add a few chocolate chips to it as well and it would be good.
