In addition to numerous dutch ovens, both iron and aluminum, several fry pans and other iron gadgetry, we even have a cast iron wok for cooking stir fry veggies when camping.

Cast iron skillets are fantastic and can be passed from one generation to the next as long as they are taken care of. I started my collection last year with a 6" skillet. I now have 2-12" and 1-10" skillets and a 10" griddle.

I've several of these skillets, but I don't use them often. I really don't know why. I need to dig them out and at least try fixing breakfast in them once in awhile. We're doing breakfast sausages this morning, and a cast iron skillet would be perfect.
