Party foods in the woods

Salad can be prepared fairly inexpensively, and meals like chili especially if you have baked potatoes as a side, can go along way. I would say to get a couple of packs of hot dogs to go with it too, but they definitely aren't cheap these days.

So how did it go? I guess I would share what I've prepared in the woods the last time I had a bridal shower at the camp with some female friends. I've prepared some mini-burgers that were already pre-prepared at home, enchiladas, creamy rigatoni pasta and banana split with almonds and chocolate syrup.

It really reminds me of the K.I.S.S. rule but I wondered how it went too. After I read this the other day a friend said they were planning one too, cake and all. Did you guys have cake?

X2 on that. As for the cake, we made one before out of pancakes that we just stacked up on top of each other and then slathered some choco syrup and cream on it.
