When it rains What do you do when you're camping and it's meal time and you're getting rained on? Do you bring back up food that doesn't need to be cooked in case this happens?

We usually take a grill with us and we take one of those canopy things with us just in case. That way you also have some shade to cook in too if it's not raining.

We just cook under the canopy or the lean too. We are fine with that. There is usually always a pavilion somewhere near us too so we have been known to drag the grill under that.

We just cook in the rain. Then we eat in the screen porch section of our tent. It has never happened, but if it rained all day on us and we couldn't get the fire started, I always have plenty of snacks, cereal, can cold cuts on hand to keep us satisfied.

We manage shelter of some type we can cook under. The tarp pavillion type deal is wonderful to handle this type of situation. I take it along for us to get into the shade with anyway.
