Batter for hot buttered rum

[Marshmallow]

Soften a pound of butter and add to one quart of vanilla ice cream, also softened. Add one pound of softened brown sugar. Mix together. Place the mixture into small containers and freeze for when you need it. To serve this, place 2 tablespoons or more in a glass along with rum and hot water mixed to your taste. Leave out the rum for a neat treat for the kids.

Sounds interesting and different. A nice warm drink to warm you up. I'm not a big rum fan though but I might give it a try. Of course I won't allow the kids to drink it.

Hmmm... that sounds pretty good. Maybe mix the rum in while everything is still soft, or would it not freeze then due to the alcohol content?

That sounds like a perfect warm drink! I am thinking about making one right now (its been a long day). Do you have any preference when it comes to the type of rum?
