Burgers I've never taken a pan with us to try and cook burgers but my husband brought home deer burger recently and we were thinking about making burgers on our next camping trip. Advice on how to do it best would be great!

If you're going to make venison patties, you can always buy ground venison at the wet market, put some seasonings needed (your usual preference of seasonings) and form them into snack-sized patties. I know that ground venison responds well to marinades.

Mix about 3/4 vension with 1/4 ground beef. It will help add a bit of fat and help the vension stick together. I have also used a bit of oatmeal to keep it together. If the processor added any fat then it may not be necessary. I use a product called Dales to marinate or pour a bit on when you put burgers on grill.

I would mix it with hamburg too. The hamburg will keep it from falling apart. Venison is pretty dry with little fat. I would also spice it up a lot.
