Default Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites

I found this recipe on Pinterest and I will just go ahead and tell you they are seriously addictive. They are super easy to make too!

2 large bananas
1/4 cup nat*ural peanut but*ter
1/2 cup choco*late chips
2 tbsp-1/4 cup milk of choice

Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper or parchment. Slice bananas into coins about 1/2-3/4 inch thick. Spread a little peanut butter on the top of each one. In a small bowl, combine the chocolate chips and milk. Microwave in 15 second increments until you can whisk them together. You want it to be a dipable consistency. Add a splash more milk if necessary. Dip the banana chunks in the chocolate. Place chocolate coated bananas on the prepared sheet and freeze for 3-5 hours. Remove frozen banana chunks from the sheet and store in a freezer container.

I tried these and took them over to my parents for the Fourth and they were a huge hit. My kids especially loved them so we will definitely be doing them again.

I remember a similar dessert made by my younger brother during their home economics class project. The thing that made it a hit was because of the rice krispies that were added to the chocolate-peanut butter flavor.

Sounds like a delicious combo and super easy, too! It's good to have as many "grab and go" snacks as possible when camping/hiking/being outdoors.
