| Ribs! I had some really good ribs tonight and my family really loved them. I had let the beef ribs cook in my crock pot all day in just a bit of water. When I got home earilier, I drained them and put in two whole bottles of barbecue sauce. They cooked another couple of hours until my husband got home. By the time they we ate, the meat was falling off of the bone. Mmmmmmm.

| I always slow roast them on the grill. It takes about 2 hours but the results are so very worth it. They are one of my favorite things to eat for sure.

| Man I love ribs! We have a little barbecue place not far from us that has the best barbecue ribs I've ever tasted. They cook them over a wood fire and I go as often as I can.

| Those sound really good Hummingbird! We haven't had short ribs in a long time, mostly pork. I used to do them and make up a sweet n sour sauce to go over them and they always came out great.

| I love ribs! Slow-cooking them in a smoker with some hickory chips is my favortie way to go. I've been thinking about doing some over the holidays and serving them with a South Carolina (mustard-based) sauce. Alternatively I may do some pulled pork.

| I made ribs for the first time in a crock pot recently, too - they turned out pretty good. Put some BBQ rub and baked them first, then put in the crock pot with some Sweet Baby Ray's and bottle of beer....yum!

| I normally do not eat ribs in the oven, but Alton Brown has a great recipe for them.
I cook them on the smoker typically though. Lots of dry rub the night before and let it soak in, another splash before going on the grill. If you want them wet, you can add sauce at the table. I'm dry.

| My Gram used to make venison ribs this way too. We make beef ribs all the time. I prefer them in the slow cooker. When I grill them outside they are tough! I like it when the meat falls off the bone!
