| Where I'm from, deer are becoming an issue, daily. Right now the literal number one cause of wrecks is deer. It is a big issue and without people like me to shoot them, clean them and eat their delicious meat, it would be an even bigger issue. Also, I don't think people who sport hunt, should be allowed to be called hunters unless they use them meat or GIVE IT AWAY! There are starving kids in this world! I have a name for them types hunters but I won't say it here! | ||||||||

| I done a research paper on this very topic last year and it is very true especially so in Arkansas, Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. Deer are becoming over populated and are going to start having negative effects on the environment. | ||||||||

| Some people have such a problem bonding with other people, that they develop a bond with animals instead. Less rejection, I guess. I try to explain to them that if the roles were reversed, that animal is going to hunt, kill, and eat you. So, you might as well be on the winning end of that contest. Besides, dead things are yummy! | ||||||||

| I think anti-hunters just have a different perspective, really. Where I'm from, we go shark fishing on occasion. I posted a video on YouTube of us gutting one of our catches, and the vast majority of the comments were negative, calling us killers, wishing us a similar death, rants about dwindling shark populations. Here, though, shark populations are anything but dwindling, since there are no commercial shark fishers. People from different places just have a hard time understanding one another's cultures, I think. | ||||||||

| And, see, I totally agree with those people: "finning" is absolutely horrible. That'd be like cutting the legs off a deer and leaving it to die. When we catch shark, we keep the whole thing and eat the whole thing - usually giving away large portions of it to family and friends so that none of it goes to waste. | ||||||||

| Hey...at least when we eat meat gained from hunting, the animal lived a free life and was probably a lot happier than the caged animals bred and raised on hormones just to be lined up and slaughtered for the supermarket... Let's all go back to the hunter-gatherer days! :P | ||||||||

| I don't hunt much anymore but when I did I faced a lot of people who were anti-hunting. I never understood it either. What's the difference between hunting for food and walking into your grocer to buy packaged cow? | ||||||||
