Default Most challenge animal to hunt

What do you think is the most challenging to hunt?

I often wonder if it could be a bear because they are so smart. They are not the easiest animal to track.

Foxes in Australia are often very challenging to hunt. They are very fast and often 'hide' behind bushes and believe you can't see them! Poor things, I feel sorry for them they don't know how stupid they are!

I would have to agree with you that a bear is very hard to track. A bear has a great sense of smell. They know when you are around--even when you are miles away.

Haha, I wasn't aware of that, poor creatures. I think that the bear is very dangerous and most challenging to catch, especially with using just your bow.

I have an ex boyfriend who used to bear hunt and those bears always gave him a hard time, lol. As far as I know, he never did get one. And that was in Pennsylvania where they are pretty darn abundant.

I know how this is going to sound, but I have friend of mine from the Middle East who told me he used to hunt jackals.

Yea that's right jackals, he says they are pretty smart but what they lack in intelligence they make up for in raw ferociousness. He later moved to England, I think (I don't remember if he lived in the Middle East or England first), and got into fox hunting.

I remember saying something like "it must have been much easier to hunt foxes than jackals". He replied "actually a cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal".

Bears are pretty hard. Since the area I hunt in only gives me the big game option of deer and bear, I would say bear is HARD. I haven't tried any other game like elk, big horns, etc. With my experience, I'll say bear.
