Oh yea we always get ready early. It isn't much longer now. I'm ready as well. I practice year round though to try to keep my skills in check.

Do not have a riffle yet. SHould be going to Bass Pro on the 23rd, I will check to see how good their sales are that weekend. Maybe pick up a Remington 700 or a Savage.

Nice choice, want the 700 have not yet gotten one. Bass Pro will have a visit on me come the 30th. I haven't been in a few weeks, anxious to see what they've got since last trip there.

Thanks. The wife and I have agreed to wait until we get a safe before buying a gun. I did manage to get a new pellet gun and one of those airsoft guns. Pellet guns sure have changed. They are all barrel breaks now it would seem. At least everyone there was.

Pellet guns have changed! A great deal! I enjoy the airsoft guns for around the house. That is very wise of you both to decide on purchasing a safe first. Gun safety is very important obviously. -- Gone Fishing--

Yeah, even though right now I highly doubt the little one can carry a gun, she does know how to open doors now. I also would like to get a program down to teach the kid and wife if there is an intruder in the house to get under their bed. I know someone who has taught this to their kids after his daughter answered the door at 3 am (she thought it was her father coming home late from work) and the intruder held her at knife point until the cops got there. He now has taught his children not to answer the door after a certain time, and if someone does break in to get under the bed in case of stray bullets.

Man that is sad. My kids know they are not to answer the door but sometimes go on and do it. This terrifies me to no end.
