Heater while camping I am unsure of the safety of space heaters while camping in a tent or trailer since were are going on a trip in a few weeks. Are quartz heaters suitable for outdoor use?

Well, if you have a camper or pop up, a small ceramic heater would work quite well if you are connected with electricity. I've never used anything but a campfire when we are camping but then we usually don't camp in cold weather.

Most tent fabrics, as well as bedding, are flammable. PLEASE don't try using a heat source inside of a tent. Dress warmly and make a campfire.

You also worry about carbon monoxide if you use kerosene type heaters indoors. Quartz heaters don't have that problem, but you have to be careful since you are in a confined area.
