Default Useless gadgets

My husband and I go camping regularly. He is very much a gadgets man. He buys some of the most unnecessary gadgets for our trips. Is anyone else like this?

Not me but my Dad loves to buy crazy useless gadgets and for some reason they only have one task so they aren't even multi-purpose gadgets.

I'm a gadgets man myself. I can spend an endless amount of time at the store looking at all of the gadgets that they have out there.

I look at them but I rarely buy them. One that always makes me laugh is the pedometer thing. I wonder if people really think they are walking so much? Each time you barely bump one it adds a step. I knocked on off the shelf once and it said 23 steps. Pointless.

My mom likes to buy those gadgets. She gave us two battery operated can openers that worked for about two weeks each lol. I have always thought "if only those things really worked, wow"

I think it is a guy thing. They see any gadget and think it is something that they must have! It is fun to see the things that my husband needs, and never uses! We usually end up giving them away after they have taken up space in the trailer for a couple of years.

I have to disagree. I think women are much worse than men. You should see my aunts house. She watches those stupid info commercials and has her credit card handy for ordering every time.

Gadgets can be nice, but you can get a little crazy with them. Sometimes it is hard to restrain yourself though. I do not think I have that many gadgets.

If you can not buy gadgets that work and are needed, do not buy any at all. There is nothing worse than having to argue with someone who thinks they have awesome gadgets for everything in life, only to have to break their hearts and tell them how useless something is.

Not me, I only buy gadgets that are useful and has many benefits. It would be a waste of money if I buy a useless gadget that is a second-hand type and lasts for a few weeks.
