Default Beautiful Camper

I just saw one of the most beautiful campers I have ever seen. I have never gone shopping for one but there was one at the side of the road today when we were in town. We stopped to have a look and this thing had three slide outs! It had a section that sat over the truck bed that held two sofas which had pull out beds. There was a television in the front and a full size bed and a full size shower and toilet in the back. The kitchen was wonderful with multiple cabinets and a good sized stove. It also had a television and a full sized closet in the back bedroom. I am in love, except for the price. It was priced at $27,000. That would buy a lot of tents for me. So I guess I'll just look and drool!

It's amazing what they put in those units today. The newest thing is the "entertainment areas" (not sure what that feature is called) that open up with a wet bar, mini fridge and big screen TV that pops out from the side.

I can see how people can RV full time.

Hey! That sounds better than my house! Maybe I should trade, house for camper? What do you think-do you think they'd go for it? Maybe if I threw in the old Dodge pickup that would seal the deal?

Camping all the time. Boy, that would be the life. Now if I could find someone who would give me money for camping, it would be a perfect situation!

Yeah, I know. I would love to do that for the rest of my life. I could see traveling from place to place and staying a month or two in each spot. Fishing and hiking all the time all over the country. Man, I'm dreaming now!

Sounds fantastic but I keep thinking of how many nights in a nice lakeside lodge, with someone else to scrub the toilets and change the sheets $27,000 would buy. Not to mention the fuel and hastle of dragging that monster through idiot traffic to get to those beautiful hideaways.

This may be a grand option for some, but for grandma and I, a tent and dutch oven in the wilderness is also grand or the other extreme of a beautiful lakeside lodge with others doing the work is also fine. The RV would be a mid point of those two options but would lessen our vacation possibilities rather than increase them.
