I've got plans for a couple different types of teardrop/compact trailers, and I'll probably start a build come summer. I'm leaning toward a modified teardrop which would be a module I could set on and off my utility trailer.

I had the same idea. A teardrop thatcan be slid on and off of a utility trailer. If you build one let us know how it turns out.

Here's the basis for my idea: Canoe-Carrying Trailer

I may actually make it a bit bigger than the basic 4x8 design. When the weather gets better, I'm going to make a mock up of the layout and see how I like it.
