Default Just Purchased A 1993 VW Westfalia CamperVan

I've been wanting one for such a long time, and I finally did it. I found this one on eBay a few days ago, and I've been bidding, and so far I'm the highest bidder! So I'm pretty sure it'll be mine. Can't wait to go camping and fishing!

Cool! I almost bought a 1968 minibus camper once, but couldn't get the guy to come down to $300 from $350. Kinda wish I'd sprung for the extra $50 now.

Hope you get it and it works out well for you. VW's are at least easy to work on.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I can't wait to park this thing down by the river and set up for a few days. I got the van, so it's simply a matter of going and getting it. It's got the couch that lets out to a bed, the sink and propane stove and anything else a man could need.

Smokey,
I drove a 1965 VW bus for many years when I was younger. It went thru 3 engines which are easy to swap out. My all time speed record was about 66 miles per hour. Whatever you do, don't hit anything from the front.

The newer ones are much better, go faster, and require less maintenance. My advice to be careful though is still no joke.
