Default Mini Mobile Home

I was looking this morning at some of the newer, tiny mobile homes. The one I saw fit on a tiny trailer that would be easily towed, and had a hard bottom that slid out and a tent top-called a mini Opera I think.

These are crazy-have you seen this kind of thing?

Nope. If it is a mini, does it have enough room to move around in? Would an average family of four fit in it comfortably?

It sounds like a pop-up trailer to me. They come in different sizes. Some hold up to six or eight people. When I think of a mobile home I think of a house trailer, not an RV. I am assuming with the canvas pop-up this would be a temporary shelter, such as a camper or tent.

Are they different than the pop ups? Who makes them? I definitely would be interested in something like that. The big RVs don't interest me but with kids something like this would be convenient.

That sounds pretty cool. I haven't seen these yet but I would be very interested. We have a motor home that we've had for a couple of years. It's like bringing your house camping with you. It's really pretty and we're going to have to do a lot of camping to justify the cost.

I want an RV when I am old enough to retire.

I have never heard of these mini mobile homes. Do you have a link that we could click on to go check one out? I wonder how expensive they are?

Here is one that I like-it expands outwards and can be enclosed in a tube thing for shelter. Not much privacy though!

This is the pop up that I was originally referring to though;

That's actually a fascinating site to dig through-there's even a shopping car trailer!

I have seen those at the campsite we normally stay at a lot in the Summer. They are similar to smaller versions of the 5th wheel camper, but do not have quite as much room. I could be content with one of those.

I would too-absolutely. They look way more sturdy than anything I have ever camped in-fairly luxurious if I am honest by comparison! And yet easy to use too.
