Default Kayaks

Does anyone else have experience with using one to get into remote locations with?

I've a preference for the touring kayaks, and prefer the composite ones to the natural material ones. I've been into some very desolate places on the B.C. coastline thanks to such a vessel. I find the touring kayaks far more stable than the traditional ones.

I have not gone to any really remote locations, but there are small islands, I've been to on mine. Close to shore, and nothing fancy. Some where so overgrown I could not find a way onto them.
