Default Survival Movie "The Gray"

Hi...

The Alaskan survival movie "The Gray" debuts today (Friday, Jan. 27), and already it's being bombarded with complaints from animal "rights" people all over.

And these people haven't even seen the movie yet...!!

Do you think they've seen "Psycho" a few times too many, or were they naturally born with one oar out of the water? Or maybe their parents were too scared when they watched the popular movie "The Birds" a few decades ago?

Maybe it's time for the flamethrower guy, eh...!! (chuckle, snort).

NOTE:

"Pathfinder", who is now posting on this forum, is NOT Pathfinder1, which is me...!!

Just another irresponsible movie depicting wolves as bloodthirsty man-killers. It does for wolves what Jaws did for sharks. I have no time for garbage like this.

I have seen the previews and have no desire to see the movie. I would like to place these animal "rights" people in a similar situation though, and see what they would do. What do you think?

I think that people take movies way too seriously. While some are trying to make a political statement or something, most of them are just there for entertainment, not to be taken seriously. From what I heard, the wolves don't even look real, they are huge and obviously CGI. If someone watches the movie and goes away feeling that it's "real" that is their problem not the movie makers.

I enjoy the entertainment, but not at movie prices. I'll wait for it to be released on DVD then the whole family can watch it for $2.50.

I'm with you Old Sarge...haven't been to the movies in like 12 years. I like Liam Neeson and "survival" type movies so it will definitely get a view from me. Just as soon as redbox gets it.

Oh...don't get me wrong here. I'll go to the movies, but it had better be some loud adventurous stuff with lot of explosions. Something like Terminator 2 or Predator. Hmmm...both Arnold movies!

And from the looks of the previews I don't think it wont be to long before it is on Red Box.

Here's a review...so far it hasn't done too bad at the box office. But then again that doesn't mean it's a good movie.
