My apologies Old Sarge. I take the outdoors very seriously. Some think too seriously.

Your post would be a lot funnier if people didn't actually live on canned dog food in this country.

So it is a healthy option after all!

No apologies necessary, I just need to think before I start posting. Didn't mean to be so abrasive.

Sarge,
You and I are a lot alike in the way we approach the forum. Thanks for the positive attitude.

As an aside, I talked to a bunch of people in Elko last week at the Poetry Gathering who cowboy for a liviing. I asked them about wolves in the Santa Rosa Range, the Pine Forest Range, and the Jarbidge Mtn.s of Nevada. "Yep, there are wolves out there."

My neighbor's large male Lab was killed by coyotes this week.

If it means surviving, yes! Better me eating them than them eating me.

I understand. It is sort of like how lobster used to be served to prisoners as it was considered junk food. There was a case where prisoners actually sued the state because they ate so much lobster. But it does not stop me from thinking they are crazy. But then again some people think I'm crazy because I can eat a onion or tomato like it was an apple.
