Default You Tube Videos

Lately I have been researching different stoves ideas for hiking. I saw several on You Tube. while I was there I got side tracked and started viewing all the different ideas people have for shelters, tools, Para cord uses, etc. Has any one else seen some of these videos? Some are pretty good ideas and can get those wheels in your head turning.

There is a lot of great information on youtube, however there is just as much garbage. Anything in particular catch your interest? Firecraft is one of my favorite topics personally. You should check out IA Woodsman (Terry Barney) in the link below if you want to see the real deal. He is most impressive.

I agree Dura Mater. There is a lot of garbage out there. However, there are also some good ones. You just have to hunt. I recently saw an excellent one on how to build a fire pit in the back yard. I know this doesn't have a lot to do with camping, but it was still very interesting and informative.

I have not seen any video's on You Tube. Now I'm interested though so I'm going to go look. What are they using? Is it safe? What keywords should I use when I search?

Im loving watching the survival videos on youtube. There's always something new to glean from, you just have to use common sense. Ive learned tons, and now Ive gotten into watching the map and compass vids as well. Very addicting!

Oh, we do this all the time. I like to watch Nutnfancy, Crocket20, and Southernprepper1 to name a few. There are a lot of really great videos out there and tons of information.

I really enjoy watching different approaches to a subject like you'll find on YouTube. It helps a lot of know something about the subject, so that you can separate the BS from the reliable info.

Check out wildernessoutfitter. The vids are usually interesting. The do push their products in some of them, but tell you up front. Most of them will give you good ideas about outdoor living.
I had to edit to fix my horrible spelling!

Dura,
Thanks for the reference to iawoodsman. He seems like a very level headed guy with good military training. I like his affect and his mental approach.
