Default Advice on new 1-man tent

I am looking to buy a new 1 person tent for use in the summer months. I have a few criteria that I need to consider.

1. Open full netting at the top to let heat dissapate, but keep the bugs off.
2. Comes with a good rain fly
3. Light weight: Hiking and camping, not backing the truck up to my site.
4. Size: I'm 6'5", and 250lbs.
5. Floor needs to be thick enough to keep the moisture out.
6. Durable enough to use it all summer

I have some ideas of what I want to go with, but was looking to see if anyone already was using something like this already. Thanks!

Dozens of great tents that fit that criteria. What price range do you want to stay in? Check MSR's Hubba or Big Agnus's Seedhouse SL1.($300 range) One of my hiking friends is a big man and has no problem with the seed house. Several use the Hubba and the Hubba Hubba (2 man). If you want ultra cheap, check out Texsports Saguaro. For a cheap tent, the Texsport works well for boy scouts or newbies who may only use it a time or two. If they enjoy backpacking then they may want to upgrade. It is nearly 7 feet long if I remember correctly. (About $30 down at the feed store) There are a number of good tents in the middle. Check with REI, Campmor, Sportsmans Guide or any other of the many websites.

As for the floor being thick, body heat will draw moisture through any of them. You will have to go with a footprint or better yet, a good insulated pad to prevent that.

I am 6' 4" and 200 lbs and my pup and I fit in the Big Angus seedhouse 1. I also love the tent and it meets all of your requirements. That would be the one I suggest.

The Double Rainbow and Lunar Duo are two person but weigh less than most one person.
I use a Go lite sl1 but if you are a big guy it's not for you, too small. I use the Double rainbow in bad weather because it has more room to move around if you are stuck in a rain storm.

If you sign up for a Survival School and it's cancelled for bad weather, you didn't miss much.

I'm 6'3"/220 and the Sierra Designs clip flashlight 2 is perfect. It's labeled as a two person, but you better be close with them in life, cause you'd be close in this. But, at 3 1/2 lbs it has 32 sq/ft of sleeping area and 7 sq/ft of vestibule area, full rainfly and probobally 90% no-see-um mesh. 3 years of moderate use and looks brand new.
Not free standing and at 6'5" you will be maxed on length, but one bug free night under the stars makes it worth it.
