| The few times I have its always been camping on private land, nothing like a national park. I just do not see the point for any public intoxication.

| It's called being thoughtful of those around you! But we have become such a "ME" soceity that many do not care about those around them as long as they get what they want.

| It's just awesome having some idiot's cell phone set on max volume ring a Beyonce song in the middle of the night when camping in a state park. That doesn't make me want to punch the person at all. The ensuing "yeah, I'm at some campground, no it's not too late I'm not busy, what's up where are you what did you have for dinner" conversation is very interesting as well.

| nothing wrong with friendly conversation and tipping a few cbrew after a day of kyacking on the river or a day of hiking or any other activity, but I always try to consider my neighbors and I would like them to consider their neighbors ( of which I am one.) ,too. Mostly this is why I would rather do my camping in the backcountry than in campgrounds.

| It depends on where you camp - some campgrounds are known for partying, and others - usually those with fewer facilities (state parks, national parks, etc) tend to be quieter.
