Well, it is a concept tent and not yet under production from what I understood from the article. But the heated groundsheet sounds WONDERFUL!!! I could use that for the most part since I freeze unless it's 100 F. outside. I wonder if it will really come into fruition?

Looks to me like an invasion of the simplicity I have grown to love. It's a neat concept but I think I am gonna keep my camping "Old School" for a little while longer.

If you have wifi, electricity, lighting, air conditioning... are you even camping?
that thing must weigh a ton. couldn't carry it on the trail so you'd have to camp by the car. might as well just buy a popup

If somebody was going to stay in one spot for awhile the ability to keep a cell phone, or other electronic devices, charged this idea would be a definate plus.
Somebody like fire jumpers perhaps??

Coz

Maybe it's for camping while staying away from zombies. Sorry, Walking Dead has my mind warped. I could see staying in this for a while. It would be awesome for someone who wanted to go away but not away from things....well, you get the picture. I just like the solar part. I have become enamored by solar energy these days. I want to be totally off grid. I've even been looking at hydroelectric power options.

I take it that it is a tent with a cloaking device --- right? Whatever it is it sounds really interesting. Is it versatile in all types of weather?
