Default Good Insole Inserts

Are you satisfied with the insoles that came with your quality hiking boots/shoes or do you use other fancy insoles that absorb shock/moisture..?

So far, so good with the original insoles in my Cabelas hikers.

New Balance has treated me well since I switch to their 3E size. However, after wandering around our state fair for several hours, we stumbled into a booth selling a gel insole. That led us to trying it, finding soothing relief, and buying it. I wore them for a while but decided under normal walking and hiking, the gel was causing me to strike heel first too strongly so I removed them.

If PRO is the opposite of CON, what is the opposite of Progress?

Hi...

A "3E" size? Was that a misprint? I'm not familiar with that size.

Not a misprint, a brain freeze 2E is correct

I found that some of the New Balance models, especially new ones, do tend to be a bit narrow, which is why I would usually go with an up width size with them.

I wear superfeet, the green variety and I adore them, my feet as well. I can't tell you how much they are comfortable. I don't use regular insoles that boots come with.

I wore new balance for many years as a runner. Their shoes and insoles are now made in china junk. I'll never buy another pair. I bought a pair of nb trail runners and after very little wear they hurt my feet to walk a mile in them.
I like sof sol insoles.
