Owning and Using a Compass

It's all about practicing Steves. I've taught a few folks about compass and map reading. We went to a place we were familiar with and started with short distances and worked to longer ones as skills progressed. The more you play with that map & compass the better you get!

It was either Physical torturE or JROTC.

Physical torturE: getting sweaty and showering with a bunch of other guys.

JROTC: learning to shoot, touring army and air bases, learning maps and navigation, and lots of fun stuff. And no sweaty naked dudes. I did four years in it, because we had so much fun. I was only required to do one.
