Default Under The Trees

We went on a short hike yesterday and it was perfect. Out in the sun, it was so hot that you couldn't breathe. But, once we got under the canopy of the trees and hiked toward the river, it was so nice. We even got a few fish to fry later on. I love days like that.

Love that type of hike. It's always great when it's nice and cool under the trees. As a matter of fact, sometimes I get chilly if it's really cool under there.

Trees are awesome aren't they? They protect you from the rain and the sun. It sounds like you had a great time. I can't wait to get out on my next hike!

This is why trees are great and we need to keep remembering their importance, not just for shade either. Here is something you can think about the next time you are under some camping trees............"The average tree in an urban/city area has a life expectancy of only 8 years".
