Ghostdog,
I had a consulting contract for 6 years with Peadbody and went down to the Res in May and late Sept to document their reclamation success. We did vegetation transects, plant id, and clipped plots to document range production. This information was used to statistically prove that they had fulfilled their obligaton for reclamation to release their 2 million dollar bond each year. I quickly learned that the crews got run into the ground working in tough conditions for 10-12 long days straight. We got more done by taking some time off to discover the wonders of Navajo land- spotted owl nests, 120 foot Douglas fir trees, cliff dewllings and the story of rocks and adventures with the Navajo police. Yatay heh

Found two females, one taking pictures of the other. Quite interesting! I'll leave it at that since this is a family forum.

We had to carry in all our water so it is a dry place. That is probably the biggest barrier to most wanderers and why all those artifacts are still laying out there under the sun. What part of the country do you usually explore?

Wow, those pictures are awesome. I think I need to take my adventuring to other states! I came across an old whiskey still, deep in the woods a long time ago. What do you do with rocks that have pictures on them? I figure some people would take them, instead of leaving them so everyone else could find them. I am not sure if we have paintings on rocks or walls here, but I would love to see them.

Hi...

Refrigerator, that photo reminds me of Utah's Newspaper Rock.

Ghostdog,
We are tuned to the same station. Sometimes it is the Navajo news and drums out of Window Rock.

I just remembered some old Dutch overn parts and human bones near Currant, NV on an old wagon road.
