Afraid of the Dark?

I'm not afraid of the dark, but the idea of being in a cave without a light scares me. Not being able to get an idea of what I was facing would be claustrophobic for me.

I'm not afraid of the dark as long as I can see at least a little bit, but if it's 100% dark and I don't have a flashlight, then I get a little jumpy.

I'm not afraid of the dark, but it throws off my balance. As long as there is enough light to make out basic shapes, I'm okay. Total darkness is a different story.

I have niece who was absolutely terrified of the swamp behind the house where we stay on an island we go to. We have spent many a night staying up all night with her because she's afraid of the swamp monsters.

Seriously, darkness use to really bother me, but now I think it can sometimes actually broaden your other senses.
