Anybody else catch this? My heart was in my nose the whole time watching him climb like that without any safety harness. It was quite amazing but hard to watch at times. I would post a link but I'm not allowed because I'm too new. But if you google Alex Honnold 60 minutes you can check it out.

Yes, I saw it. All I could think of was his poor mother. I hope she didn't see the piece. I'd die if my kids wanted to try something like this. He is quite an amazing athlete though.

I thought the piece was great. It was also scary watching someone that high and unprotected knowing a sneeze or bee sting could cause his death.

Absolutely amazing! Thanks for sharing that segment with us. I never heard of this guy before, climbing isn't one of my big past times. It's always great to see someone so accomplished in his field perform.
