Default Rappelling

How many here loves rappelling like I do?

My hiking group normally takes the fastest route going down a mountain. And we achieve it by rappelling. I really love bouncing off a cliff while sliding down the rope.

I really enjoy it also. Back when I was stationed at Fort Irwin in the Mojave desert, we used to go out 4 wheeling and find all kinds of great place to rappel from.

Oh I wish I did. I have an issue with heights I guess. It looked really fun but when I actually tried it I was terrified.

I love the hiking, but I am staying away from the mountain climbing and repelling. I don't think I need that much excitement in my life...

In my younger days at Fort Irwin. As if we didn't spend enough time in the field, on our days off we were out doing this.
