Default Where do you like to climb? gym or outside

I have a friend who when training seriously, climbs in the gym 3 days a week and outside on the weekends. I use to climb in a gym a cpl times a week in the winter. I now climb mostly out side. I like the sunshine, fresh air, and the feel of the rock. Where do you climb?

Well, DID climb outside, back in the early 90s. At that time, there weren't any climbing gyms in my area. I should get back into it, only using ropes this time...

The walls at the gym are the best place for me to practice. I get nervous practicing anywhere else. Admittedly I’ve only been a few times.

I used to live near an excellent outdoor climbing facility. Since moving I have no access to any indoor or outdoor climbing facilities, but I prefer climbing on real rock! I prefer doing all my exercise outside.

I started climbing a year and a half ago in a gym and it was perfect for a beginner like me.

Looking forward to starting climbing again this year, in the gym again, after almost a year of no climbing. Would like to try outside as well but I hardly think there are any suitable places in Denmark...

We have an outdoor climbing facility close to where I live, we went there on school trips when I was a kid. I prefer climbing outdoors, but I prefer doing everything outdoors! Indoor climbing is still fun, but not quite the same as climbing outdoors.

I like climbing outside more than indoors. I started climbing in a gym but after i tried climbing on a real mountain i feel i get a better feeling when climbing on "the real deal"

I have climbed at Mineral Wells. A lot of folks say it isn't much but like a small state park near me, It's better than nothing and better than a gym.
