Default Airboat rides?

Has anyone ever been to the Everglades and gone on an airboat ride? I went to a place recently called, Billy's Swamp Safari. I was the only local, but had never been there before. I must say it was the best one I've ever been on. We saw so many animals this time around. A huge alligator came up to the boat and the tour guy jumped out of the boat and fed it marshmallows. It was very intense, but he's done it many times so he knew what he was doing.

I have never been airboat riding in the Everglades but have been on one of our local river. I think airboats are a lot of fun. I went to with a work group and then with a family group both were a great time. I would do it again tomorrow especially with all this heat!

Not in the Everglades, but I have been on an air boat before. Ear protection is a must.

Never been on one or had an airboat ride. I'm not sure I would like to, with having to wear ear protection if you ride it. I have ridden in a white water raft though. Does that count? That was great fun!

Yes, they are a lot of fun. I love to see the wild life the most. You're right Jason, you definately need a set of earplugs. I don't know how those small 2 seater boats sound, but the big commercial ones that fit like 20 or 30 people are very loud and you don't want to damage your hearing. Some of them give you earplugs and some give you a roll of toilet paper to pass around. I prefer the toilet paper so I get a good cleaning too.
