Big purchase

We just ran into someone who is selling a 2006 Chaparral 236 Sunesta Deck Boat and while its a great boat I am not sure if its something we really need or not. We just want something that can fit our smaller family and not be an outrageous price. The guy is asking for 7k, too much?

Those boats sell for $20K - $30K. Yes. 2006. It's either a bargain or there's something wrong with it. Have someone check out the lower unit, as these can be expensive to repair if there's something wrong with it.

That does sound like a good price but as mentioned, get the motor checked out!! It's not a bargain if you end up spending a lot of money on it to get it fixed. Sounds like a nice deck boat though if it checks out ok.
