Default Boat heaters

Although it is in the 30s where I live, I would take my boat and fish if I had a decent heater. The boat is equipped with a canvas enclosure (sort of like a tent). Can anyone recommend a good and safe heater?

I use a Little Buddy propane heater sometimes, but usually I just look for days that have some sun and are not too windy. The sun comes through the windshield and side curtains and gives a lot of solar gain.

Boat heater? Isn't that how our 2 eskimos thread got started?

I was just about to say that if I used a heater in my boat, that I'd be the model for the two eskimos thread....

You folks will have to enlighten me here. 2 eskimos?? To answer the boat heater question, I've never heard of one before. I like ppine's idea of waiting till the sun comes up to heat through the plastic enclosure. Now, I have heard of a golf cart heater. To me that's just way out there.

Many boats made for Canada and Alaska can be ordered with factory heaters. They often have hard tops with sliding glass windows. Many boats in an area like Puget Sound have heaters, and the larger ones often burn diesel fuel. There is nothing like being out there on the salt water running the boat from the inside station with a cup of coffee and the heater going.

The "Two Eskimos" thread is the joke thread for the forum. Dinosaur posted a joked. Some other people posted in that thread, and it kinda snowballed from there.

LOTS of funny jokes there! Here: Two Eskimos

You'll just have to go to the Two Eskimos thread and see if and how they solved it.. And then read about 90 pages of other jokes.
