Default Have You Tried a ParaSailing?

Has anyone been parasailing before? I have wanted to do this for quite some time now and would like to know of anything I should be aware of before I do. This is a bucket-list item and I know I'm going to do it, so any type of advice will be appreciated.

I want to go parasailing too! I thought about it when we were on vacation at the beach. It looks like a ton of fun! I have to admit I am scared though - so that is why I did not do it yet. I don't have any tips - except don't close your eyes!

Oh my, we went years ago before I started hearing about all the 'accidents' that have happened doing just that. We were in Aruba at the time. I'm actually scared of heights so was surprised I did it! It was fun though. I would just ask a lot of questions about their equipment, etc. I've heard of the lines breaking.......

I went parasailing in Mexico. It was a lot of fun. Just hook up with a reputable company and enjoy yourself. It is surprisingly relaxing.
