Default Kids want to jet-ski this summer

My kids want to Jet-ski this summer and I think it sounds like a blast too. We will be heading to North Carolina for a couple of weeks in the summer. Does anyone know of any place near Charlotte that we can rent ski's and go?

Would you do me and other fishermen a favor when you go? Will you teach your kids to be aware of where people are fishing and to try to avoid disturbing the fish? There's no reason we can't all enjoy the lake.

Our family likes to do both of those things. I can certainly understand your request, Bud. For people who don't fish, I can see how they might not even notice people fishing.

Avoid paddlers, too. Nothing wrecks a paddling trip faster than jackasses on pocket rocket watercraft.

I agree that there is nothing worse than obnoxious jet-skiers out on the lake. I'm sure you will teach your kids the proper way to ride a jet-ski and the proper distance to be from other people (including fishermen).

I've had enough bad days around those things that I'm convinced the proper distance is to keep them on the trailer. Even if they are a safe distance off you still have to listen to them roar.
