Default Portable heaters

Some of the best fishing on the lakes nearby is right now. It sure has been cold though. Is there such a thing as a portable heater you can safely use when the canvas is up on your boat?

I'm thinking just make sure you have good ventilation to prevent carbon monoxide buildup in your tent.

I usually don't trek very far,
when all around me space heaters are.

There are myriad space heaters out there...catalitic (don't even go near them)...propane and butane...kerosene, etc.

As per another post, be SURE you have adequate ventilation. Also, include a CO monitor and an oxygen depletion sensor.

When I lived in Alsaka's smallest house (8' X 8'), I eventually heated it with a kerosene space heater (they used to be deathtraps years ago), trade name of Aladden, and made in Iran. It functioned perfectly for me, for both heat (too hot unless the temp was at least twenty below zero c.) and cooking. I had ADEQUATE ventilation...that is the key.

Look at the ads for heaters to the right of this post for more information.

You could also get additional info by Googling them.

Under no circumstances should you burn charcoal, though.

Default This is what I do to keep warm.

Throw one of those little handwarmer sacs in each boot and each pocket!
