Default Used Boats

We're thinking about getting a small boat for fishing on lakes. We don't have a whole lot of money to spend on one, so we're going to look for a used one. What are some things we should look for before buying?

I would check craigslist and the local trading post kind of papers. I would look for something with a trolling motor and nice cushy seats. Those are a must for my family!
