Default Winterizing boats

In the Pacific Northwest, every Fall brings about a list of things to do to winterize our boats.

I'd like to know if anyone has found a polishing product that can stand up to UV as well as fresh and salt water? We always polish things up to seal them for the winter, and it seems that whatever will stand up to salt and rain water won't stand up to UV, and vice versa. That is stays in the vicinity of 35F most of the winter here doesn't seem to be a factor.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
