| Yacht braid I just stumbled across a whack of yacht braid I didn't even know I had kicking around. The 1.5" stuff is immaculate, and has been figure-8'd up into storage. There's a few hundred feet of some 1/2" stuff, it appears that the outer covering has been compromised in a few places. Am I better off to keep that 1/2" stuff as the length it is (keeping in mind that we don't own the big boat anymore, we've a small power boat on a trailer), or cut it down into lengths of UNdamaged rope.... ? |

| It's the only rope I'll use out- of- doors anymore. Unless I've got a crab-trap to drop, I hate using polyprop, outright. That it floats is why I use it with the crab-trap, but it doesn't like to hold knots like yacht braid. |
